With over 15 years of experience at the helm of R&D projects in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and Data Science, Heinrich Terborg brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as CEO of Marein.
Marcos Ripoll, Engineer CCO
Marcos Ripoll brings over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy industry to the Marein team. He has a proven track record of success, having served as the former Vice President of Operations for Solar City/Tesla Mexico and as a co-founder of a globally recognized company in the industry, suports.es.
Claudia Rachadell Executive Chair & CLC
With over 25 years of experience in the legal structuring, development, and financing of energy projects, Claudia brings to the Board a combination of deep technical expertise and strategic vision. She holds an LL.M. in corporate law from New York University School of Law, is admitted to practice in both Mexico and the State of New York, and completed the Women on Boards program at MIT Sloan School of Management. As Executive Chair, she leads Marein’s governance with a commitment to institutional strengthening and long-term value creation at a pivotal stage of the Company’s growth.
Moises Santiago, Engineer VP of Engineering
With over 30 years of experience, Moises Santiago has made significant contributions in the field of e-commerce. He has designed the architecture that powers 3% of Mexico’s total e-commerce transactions.
Leon Martinez Head of Science
León Martínez del Río is a physicist with a PhD in Electrical Engineering specializing in the translation of operational data, physical evidence, and engineering documentation into technically grounded conclusions. His work supports technical assessments related to power generation, renewable energy, and industrial assets, with a focus on SCADA analysis, physical modeling, performance deviations, and failure-related conditions. He also contributes to technical project development by integrating scientific analysis, engineering execution, data workflows, ontological structuring of technical information, and expert report preparation.
Oscar Gonzalez Head of Data Science
With over seven years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced analytics, Oscar Gonzalez has led the development of machine learning and IoT-driven solutions across academia, banking, telecommunications, and renewable energy. His expertise spans the full AI lifecycle — from data engineering and predictive modeling to deployment and operational optimization.
Ennis Rimawi Advisor
Ennis Rimawi is an experienced advisor to Marein, known for his contributions in the clean energy sector. He has been an instrumental figure as the Managing Director of the Catalyst MENA Clean Energy Fund (CMCF), where he played a vital role in the fund’s development. Additionally, his position as a Board Member for Relational.ai (Silicon Valley) further showcases his knowledge and skill in the field.

Miguel Peleteiro is an advisor to Marein, recognized for his expertise in valuation, M&A, and strategic financial advisory. He previously served as a Managing Director in Kroll’s Valuation Advisory Services practice, specializing in the oil and gas sector across the Americas. With more than 20 years of experience in the hydrocarbons industry, Miguel has advised governments, leading oil and gas companies, midstream and distribution operators, and investors on complex transactions, disputes, and strategic decisions. He brings to Marein deep financial expertise, industry knowledge, and transactional insight.
Galo Macías Advisor
Galo Macías is an experienced advisor to Marein, bringing senior executive expertise in energy infrastructure, operations and logistics. As CEO of Noble Energy México, he has led large-scale energy distribution operations with a strong focus on safety, traceability and continuity of supply. His experience in complex infrastructure and energy projects strengthens Marein’s ability to understand operational risk, asset performance and the evidence standards required for credible technical analysis in the renewable energy sector.
